Last day today...

Dear all, 

we had a lie in today as breakfast wasn't until 8:30 and then we had time to pack our cases... We had to be out of the room by 10am and following our room inspection, our teachers found most of our clothes still in the drawers and wardrobes, despite us telling them we were fully packed! They even found random odd shoes and socks burried under pillows and duvets, but we're pretty confident we've got everything now!! 

We're just in the swimming pool at the minute and then we'll get all ready for the off in the big room the hotel have provided!

We're having lunch at the hotel at 12:30 and then getting picked up for the airport at 2pm.  We'll keep you updated about return times later today! 

We've had a great time and our teachers have said we've been exceptionally well behaved and a brilliant group... We've all got on well (most of the time) and although we're looking forward to coming home and seeing our nearest and dearest....we could definitely stay another few days!

Today is quite a momentous day in Spain, not only have they got a new king.... But apparently they've also been knocked out of the World Cup! This day will go down in the Spanish history books , and we've been here to see it all! 

Won't be long before we're home now ....

Las Ramblas....

Hi all, following our excellent visit to the aquarium this morning, we've had an equally amazing afternoon in the heart of Barcelona... Aka 'Las Ramblas'... As we ambled up the market lined street, we watched the world go by and then stopped at the top for a well earned ice cream!!! We had the chance to shop at some stalls and some of us bought presents for our loved ones back home.... But quite a few of us preferred to treat ourselves!! We had a walk around the port and saw some amazing yachts... Miss Fountain, Mrs Street and Mrs Graham chipped in and bought a luxury one... But they'll have to wait until school holidays before they can set sail (in their dreams.....).

Anyway, we're on our way home now and we'll arrive back just in time for our 6pm swim in our private pool! Blogging from the bus again!

The aquarium....

Had the most brilliant time at the aquarium... Walked under a tunnel with sharks swimming over us....scary stuff!!! Check out our pictures x

Day 3....

Hi everyone, we've all had a good sleep and another big breakfast, and we're now on the bus on our way to the aquarium in Barcelona! We'll keep you updated with pictures and information when we can! Hope you're not missing us too much! X

Day 2.....part 2

Well, we have had a brilliant afternoon....

Our tour of the Noucamp was magnificent and Sagrada Famìlia was simply breathtaking.

During our tour of the Stadium, some of us managed to have a photo with Neymar (he'd flown over especially from his World Cup stint)!  Hundreds of trophies lined the cabinets as we walked inside and we pretended to hold our very own press conference! 

Next we got back on our private bus and headed to Sagrada Famìlia where we got our own headsets to have a guided tour - it really was amazing!! 

We did a little shopping before heading back to the hotel for a well earned evening meal...we've walked for miles today!

We'll check in again tomorrow..... From the tourists abroad! 

Birthday girl....

We have a very special girl with us who is 11 today! We've all sang happy birthday and have a special treat in store tonight!! Happy birthday Charlotte, from all of us in Barcelona 🎂🍰🇪🇸🎁🎉🎈 

Day 2 - so far....

Hi everyone, we got up at 7:15, had a full 'Spanish' breakfast and then set off for Parc Guell - the views were magnificent... 

We stopped for an ice cream after our lunch and we're now on the bus on our way to the Noucamp Stadium.

Following a short spell of rain, the sun is now shining and we're all stopping frequently to put on our suncream! 

We'll check in later today, to let you know how the rest of our day goes...

First day on the beach....

Dear all at home, our first day has been great - we arrived at our hotel and unpacked and then headed to the beach for some fun! It only took 2 minutes to get there... which is great! We plodged in the water, dug massive holes (which we could all fit in) and burried Harry in the sand (his request).  After that, we went back to the hotel where we had an hour to swim and relax on the sun loungers .... And the best thing was, there was only us and the lifeguard around the pool!!! Off for tea after showers (and make up application according to the girls), then a walk around the local area... And a hopeful early night as we've got a busy day tomorrow.... Hope you're not missing us too much! Love to you all, from your Barcelona bambinos xx

Arrived safely.....

Hello everyone,

We have arrived safely and are on the bus on the way to our hotel - isn't modern technology wonderful, we are blogging from the bus!!!

The flight was pretty smooth and all of our luggage arrived...

We'll keep you updated as often as possible!
